Don Stoneham, 75, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Los Angeles, CA, he had resided most of his life in Kingsport. He was a graduate of the University of Southern California. Don retired from TN Eastman, where he had been employed as a cost accountant. He was loved by his family, friends, and his dog, Skeezix.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Betty Stoneham.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Stoneham, of Kingsport; a son, Sam Stoneham and wife, Christine, Sandpoint, Idaho; two daughters, Sherry Russell and husband, Randy, Colorado Springs, CO, and Susan Wagner and husband, Darren, Minneapolis, MN; two stepsons, Bruce Hale and wife, Wendy, Kingsport, and Michael Hale, Knoxville; two step-daughters, Renee Rock and husband, Greg, and Mickie McSwain, all of Kingsport; six grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and eleven step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, on Saturday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Gene Allison officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
