Donna Kay Phillips

Donna Kay Phillips, 50, of Kingsport went home to be with her Lord at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Greystone Health Care following a period of declining health.

Born in Sullivan County, TN on May 16, 1962, a daughter of the late Numion and Shirley Rose Case Phillips, she had resided in this area her entire life.

Donna worked as a CNA and was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, Blountville.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring mom, sister, Aunt Donna and a friend to all, who loved caring for people and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Greystone Health Care 1st floor for all the care that has been given especially by Lindsey, Charlotte, Aaron and Kathy.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Jay "TJ" Phillips.

Survivors include her son, Jared "JD" Dingus of Blountville; her brother, William "Bill" Phillips of Blountville; her twin sister, Diana Larkins and husband, Don of Kingsport; and her nephew, Timothy Lowery of Kingsport.

Funeral services will be conducted at Hamlett-Dobson, Downtown at 7:00 p. m. Friday April 5, 2013 with Pastor Mike Owens officiating. Special music will be provided by Charity Chapel Quartet.
