Dorothy Carter

Dorothy Frazier Carter, 65, Kingsport, TN, died Thursday, November 1, 2007, at SunBridge Care & Rehibilitation-Hillside.

She was a member of Community United Methodist Church. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Amos and Virginia Frazier; and two brothers, Ralph and Benny Frazier.

Surviving are her husband, Elmer Dwight Carter; one son, Terry ?Popeye? Carter; one granddaughter, Beth Hopkins Littrell and husband, Shannon; three great-granddaughters, Hannah, Emily, and Gracie; one brother, Leonard Frazier and wife, Sandra; two aunts, Ruth Clawson and Minnie Cox; and one uncle, Fred Frazier, all of Kingsport; and several cousins.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Kilbourne officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
