Dorothy "Dot" Irene Stallard

Dorothy “Dot” Irene Stallard, 90, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 20, 2024. She was born on December 10, 1934. “Dot” loved the Lord and loved people; she made friends easily and they became life-long friends. She was a long-time member of Solomons Temple Baptist Church and the Mt. Carmel Senior Center.

“Dot” was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Kermit Stallard; parents, Ervin and Nora Crawford; brothers, Harold, Darol, Delbert, and Jim Crawford; sisters, Pearl Overbey, Eula Crawford; and daughter, Darla Stallard.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Sherry Howington (Johnny), Melissa Stallard, Gina Flanary (Todd); grandchildren, Crystal Smith (Gary), Alisha Shupe (Chris), Steven Cradic (Haley), Lindsey Brooks (Shannon) and Kacie Flanary; four great-grandchildren; aunt, Betty Light; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in the Garden of Solomon at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2630 Hwy. 75, Blountville, Tennessee. The service will be officiated by Pastor Bobby Bernard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solomon’s Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 7659 Lone Star Rd Kingsport, TN 37660.
