Dorothy Lillian Durham

Dorothy Babb Durham, 90, Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Wexford House.

Born in Greene County, she had resided most of her life in Kingsport and retired from the State of Tennessee following over 50 years of service.

Mrs. Durham attended St. Luke United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Phonso L. Durham and a brother, Milton Babb preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mitzi D. Busick, Arlington, TX and Donna L. Parsons and husband, Philip, Detroit, MI; five grandchildren, Mallissa Daniels, Richard Busick Jr., Michael Noe, Jonathan Hunter, and Adam Hunter; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher and Sarah Noe, Kennedy and Jackson Busick, Olivia and Marek Daniels, and Gabriel Hunter; one sister, Elinor Stroud, Fredericksburg, VA; one brother, Lynn Babb and wife, Daci, Wilson, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. April J. Milligan officiating.

Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
