Dorothy Mann
Dorothy "Dot" Mann, 86, Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 24, 2010.
Born in Washington County, she came to the Kingsport area in 1941. She was a member of Sullivan Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mann was formerly employed with Tennessee Eastman Company.
Her husband, William Mann preceded her in death, as well as her brothers, Roy Davis, Kermit Davis, Densil Davis, and Kenneth Davis.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Nelle Franks and husband Dann, Englewood, Florida; and Judy Milligan, Alexandria, Virginia; one son, Phillip Mann and wife Jan, Kingsport, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Jennifer Close and husband Carl, LaGrange, Georgia; and Karen Pierce and husband Dan, Alexandria, Virginia; one sister, Jean Sandeelin, N. Augusta, SC, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 12:30 p.m. till 2:30 p.m. Sunday February 28, 2010 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with eulogy by Jan Mann.
Interment will follow at 4:00 Strong Cemetery on Ally Valley Road, Highway 619, in Ft. Blackmore, VA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
