Dorothy Perry

Dorothy Perry, 88, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Roy Adam Perry Jr.; parents, Richard and Annie Burk; 2 daughters, Deborah Perry Agett and Patricia Moody.

Dorothy is survived by 4 children, Carolyn Walters and husband, Doug, Phillip Perry and wife, Juanita, Dorothy Kinnard and husband, Steve, and Butch Perry and wife, Elizabeth; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow 12:00 pm with Pastor Chuck Grimm officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
