Doug Gott

Doug Gott, 58, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and was a graduate of Sullivan South High School. Doug loved to ride horses and raise chickens. He also was an avid outdoorsman. Doug loved spending time with his granddaughter, Layla.

Survivors include his two sons, Josh Gott and Corey Gott and fiancée, Sarah Ford; one special granddaughter, Layla Gott; parents, Fred and Gladys Gott; brother, David Gott and wife, Cathy; niece, Katie Bentley and husband, Brandon; nephew, Matthew Gott; one special great-niece, Emma Bentley; special friend, Pat Wilcox.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Brandon Bentley officiating.
