Dudley Lynn Holt
Dudley Lynn Holt, 50 of Kingsport, formerly of Newport, went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 21, 2011, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Newport, TN, he had resided in Kingsport for the past 15 years. Lynn was employed by Food City as a meat cutter. He was a member of Midfield Freewill Baptist Church and was an avid comic collector.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Carroll Holt and father-in-law, Eugene Cole Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Debi Holt of Kingsport; two daughters, Amanda Holt and Emily Holt of Kingsport; one son, Jacob Holt also of Kingsport; mother, Vera Holt Stewart of Newport; three brothers, Larry Holt and wife Whitney, Gary Holt and wife Carla, both of Newport, Tim Shelton and wife Michelle of Erwin; mother-in-law, Barbara Cole of Kingsport, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Midfield Free Will Baptist Church. The service will begin at 7 pm with Pastor Adam Miller officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midfield Free Will Baptist Church, 1801 Granby Rd, Kingsport TN, 37665.
