E. Ruth Cox Cline

E. Ruth Hun Cline, 78, of Lone Star Community, went to be with Jesus on Monday, January 7, 2013. She was born March 18, 1934 to Clarence and Elizabeth Hickam Cox in Sullivan County, TN. Ruth retired from Eastman Kodak after many years of service. She attended Walker's Fork Baptist Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Teresa Gayle and Patsy Ann; her parents; brothers, Orville, R.C., Earl, Robert, J.C. and Johnny Paul; and sisters, Gladys Conkin and Hazel Crawford.

She is survived by her husband, David Cline; brother, Roy Cox and wife, Bonnie; numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; one special niece, Louise Chase; one special friend, Frances Phillips; and many others.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 9th from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Lewis Meade officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, January 10th at 11:00 am at Lone Star Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Cline, Leon Cline, Kenneth Cline, Ralph Cline, Jr., Johnny Cox and Mark Chase. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clarence Crawford, Kyle Chase, Everett Cline, Bill Cline and Donald Cline.

A special thanks to Dr. Hodge, Josh Smith, R.N. and to the ICU staff of Indian Path Hospital.
