Earl Douglas "Doe Doe" Branham

Earl Douglas "Doe Doe" Branham, 73, of Kingsport, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Indian Path Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Pikeville, KY, he had resided in Kingsport since 1948. Earl had worked in the concrete industry for many years, spending most of his time at Branham Brothers Concrete.

Earl attended Way of Life Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Will and Mary Jane Branham; grandchildren, Angel Branham and Kaleb Lovell; sister, Linda Sue "Cookie" Rhoten; and brother, Willie "Junior" Branham.

He is survived by his wife, Veda Branham of the home; five children, Mike Branham of Church Hill, Becky Cooke and husband, Captain Dave of Thorn Hill, TN, Neil Lane and wife Angie of Kingsport, Leslie Lane of Kingsport, Dawn Perry and husband Paul of Kingsport; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian "Billie" Dockery and husband Buddy of Kingsport; brother, George Branham and wife June of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jay Bradley officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
