Earl Monroe Neeley, 59, of Kingsport passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 6, 2011.
A native of Scott County, he loved working on cars and fishing. Earl never met a stranger; he loved his family and grandkids and was an all around good ol' boy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Ellen Bishop Neeley and one great-granddaughter, Kaylyn Lundy.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Begley and husband, Ronald of Kingsport, Kristy Bearden of Knoxville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jeanette Winegar of Kingsport, Monnie Collins and husband, Suel of Kingsport, Geneva "Jenny" Keplinger and husband, John of Jonesborough, Brenda Shaw and husband, Terry of Limestone; three brothers, Clyde Neeley and wife, Cindy of Rockford, TN, Kyle Neeley and wife, Charlotte of Kingsport, Rick Neeley and wife, Terri of Kingsport; special nephew, Jerry Miller and several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday with Mr. Terry Lyons officiating.
Pallbearers are Ricky M. Neeley, Travis L. Neeley, Ronald Begley, R.J. Begley, Jeremy Begley, Rick Neeley, and Justin Light.
