Earmal Ruth Jobe Sells, 83, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Sells; her parents, Paul Thomas Rice Jobe and "Sudie" Jobe; and all of her sibling sisters and brothers.
Surviving are four sons, Jimmie R. Sells of Sanford, North Carolina, Tommy P. Sells, Larry S. Sells, and Ronald W. Sells, of the Tri-Cities area; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Al South and Pastor Joe W. Byrd a lifelong friend officiating.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Beulah Community Cemetery. Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Wellington Place in Colonial Heights and Smokey Mountain Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to Beulah Community Cemetery Fund, c/o Everette Sells, 300 Beulah Church Road, Kingsport, TN 37663.
