Edgar Wright

Edgar Wright, 83, of Kingsport died on Monday, January 9, 2012.

He was born in Hawkins County and lived in Kingsport most of his life. He was a farmer by trade.

Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Thomas Wright; wife, Frances Wright; sisters, Nellie Olinger, Lois Castle, Ida Kate Cox and Jeanette Delp; brothers, Kelley, Robert and Ralph Wright; son, Leon Wright; and infant daughter, Nancy.

He is survived by his fiancé, Maria Begley and her son, Tommy; sister, Ethel Brewer of Kingsport; three grandsons; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Jane Collins.

The funeral service will be conducted at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, with Rev. Elmo C. Owens officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, January 12, at 2 p.m. at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, TN. Pallbearers will be Tommy Begley, Danny Riggs, Kilton Lane, Rick Joyner, Allen McBride and Chris McClellan.
