Edith Elizabeth Cloud

Edith E. Cloud, of Kingsport, passed away May 18, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Hamilton and Margaret "Maggie" Rosabelle Barker Cloud; two brothers, Frank Cloud and Wallace H. "Woody" Cloud; sister, Elinor Dunn; two nieces, Carolyn Sue Dunn and Rose Ann Ball; a nephew, Teddy Cloud; and great-nephew Jeffery Dunn.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ruby Cloud of Kingsport and Cly Ellen Cloud of Madison, WI; two nephews, Tim Dunn and wife Roberta "Bertie" of Kingsport and Randy Cloud and wife Dianne of Unity, WI; one niece, Glenna Burk Cloud, husband Terry Burk and son, Brian, of Madison, WI; great-nephew, Tony Cloud and wife Penni of Unity, WI; two great-nieces, Tori Cloud and husband Eric Cronkright of Denver, CO, and Melinda Ball Slemp and husband Josh of Kingsport; two great-great-nephews, Ethan Cloud and Jordan Slemp; and a great-great niece, Bridget Cloud.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Minister Gary R. Bement of Bethel Presbyterian Church of Kingsport officiating. Military rites will be performed by American Legion Post #3/265.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
