Edith M. (Duncan) Conkin, 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 8, 2018 at her residence.
Edith was born on February 21, 1936 in Rogersville, TN, a daughter of the late Oscar and Elsie Fields Duncan.
She was retired from Diamond Chain Company in Indianapolis, IN.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Bud" Conkin and by two sons, Randy Conkin and Tommy Conkin.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Carnes; sister, Estelle Simpson; grandchildren, Robbie, Tonya, Randy, Krystal, Joshua and Jamie; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 3:00pm in Duncan Family Cemetery, 273 Fields Drive, Rogersville, TN. Dr. Bobby Bernard will officiate.
Those attending services are asked to assemble at the gravesite by 2:50 pm Monday.
