Edith Mullins

Edith Mullins, 89, of Greeneville, Tennessee passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Sullivan County, Tennessee she had resided most of her life in Greeneville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Opie Mullins; one son, Wendell Mullins; two great-grandsons: Jonathan Light and Josh Light; one brother, Quillen Mullenix; and her parents: Everette and Anna Mullenix.

Survivors include her daughter: Linda Householder of Kingsport; one son, Doug Mullins and wife, Rena of Greeneville; four grandchildren: Rick Light and wife Susan; Angie Calloway and husband David; Rusty Mullins; Deanna Campbell and husband Jeff; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson with funeral services following at 8:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Solomon's Temple Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Kingsport with Pastor Greg Skelton officiating.

Pallbearers are Rick Light, Rusty Mullins, Jacob Light, David Calloway, Nate Mullenix, Adam Mullenix and Brandon Mullenix.
