Edna Fay Hash, 74, Kingsport, born October 3, 1937, went to be rejoined with her twin, Ruby May Hash on Thursday, September 13, 2012.
She was a graduate of Lynn View High School. Edna retired from Holston Valley Medical Center Dietary Department after 43 years of service.
Edna was a member of Arcadia Presbyterian Church. She loved her church family, church children and they loved her too.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sarah Maude Hash; sisters, Ruby Hash, Helen Salling, and Hazel Christian; brother, Samuel Hash; and nephew, Allen Good.
Survivors include her sister, Reba Good and husband Randall of Church Hill; brothers, Robert "Joe" Hash and wife Janet of Church Hill and Jerry Hash of the home; brother-in-law, Johnny Christian of Kingsport; nieces, Vanessa Christian of Kingsport and Donna Good of Texas; nephews, Jason Hash of the home, Joshua Hash of Kingsport, Ricky Good of Alabama, Samuel Good and Cody Good of Church Hill; great-nieces, LeeAnn Good of Church Hill, Heather Good and Emily Hash of Kingsport; great-nephews, Wesley Christian, Brandon Carter and Travis Good of Kingsport, Timothy Good of Church Hill; several great-great-nieces and nephews; two aunts; and several cousins.
A special thanks to the nurses on ICU D500 Floor and Wilcox Hall 3rd Floor, Amedisys Home Health and Hospice for their great care of Edna.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. John Irwin and Rev. Gary Gerhardt officiating. Music will be provided by Arcadia Presbyterian Church Choir.
Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Good, Cody Good, Wesley Christian, Jason Hash, Ralph Campbell, Grady Bell, Hoyt Woodward.
