Edward "Ed" Nienast
Edward "Ed" Nienast, 49, Kingsport, passed away Sunday November 1, 2009 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cassie Nienast; and brother, James Elmer Mooney.
Surviving are brothers, Vernon Nienast and wife, Joann, Kingsport, and Robert Nienast and wife, Brandy, Norton, VA; sisters, Nancy Woods and husband, Mack, and Roberta Morrow, Pulaski, TN; special niece, Beth Morrow; special nephew, Jay Morrow; special great-niece, Karmen Lawson; special uncle, Dewey Mooney and wife, Roxie; special friends, Amanda Gibson, Casey Gibson, and Stacy Gibson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Fall Branch Church of Christ. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Wayne Boswell and Rev. Steve Payne officiating.
Burial will follow at Fall Branch Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bassett, Frank Meadows, Ralph Mooney, Vernon Nienast, Jay Morrow, and Robert Nienast. Honorary pallbearers will be Dewey Mooney, and Weldon Bacon.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, P. O. Box 27, Kingsport, TN 37662 to help defer funeral expenses.
