Eldon Gardner

Eldon Gardner, 81, of Afton, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather, and a devoted Christian. He was a member of Fall Branch Full Gospel Church. He gave his testimony through his singing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Laverne Lane Gardner; sister, Trula Smith; brothers, Joe, Jim, Bill, Howard, and W.T. "Dub" Gardner.

He is survived by his daughters, Debra Black and husband, Boyd, Angela Eads and husband, Richard, Carrie Gray, Jennifer Jackson and fiancé, Gary Addington; sons, Eldon Stanford Gardner and Jeffery Andreshak; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters Lora Caltaldo and Lena Showalter; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Hamlett-Dobson Fall Branch Chapel. Services will follow at 8:00, with Pastor Robert F. Seymour, Rev. Wayne Waycaster, and Rev. Carl Gregg officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday at noon at Fall Branch Church of Christ Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
