Eleanor Jean Horton

Eleanor Jean Horton, 73, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully at home. Jean was a lover of animals - especially cats. She will be truly missed by friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita and Robert Johnson.

Surviving are her daughters, Ann King and husband Billy of Kingsport, TN, Sue Miller of Johnson City, TN, and Oleida Schexnayder and husband Phil of Berwick, LA; son, Tommy Horton of Kingsport, TN; twelve grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Davis and Linda McDavid and husband Eddie, both of Kingsport, TN; brothers Robert Johnson and wife Kathi of Kingsport, TN; Tom Johnson of Johnson City, TN; and David Joe Johnson of Kingsport, TN.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 10th, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 11th, at 1:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport, with Pastor Raymond Hammonds officiating. Burial will follow at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
