Eleanor Pollard, 96, of Kingsport passed away peacefully Monday morning, May 10, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on July 24, 1920, a daughter of the late Dr. William Oscar and Eva Lee Price Pollard, she has resided in this area since the early 1950's.
Eleanor was a homemaker and a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth Pollard, Bryan Pollard, Gregory Pollard and Oscar Pollard; one sister, Elisabeth Pollard; great nephew, Kyle Kincer.
Survivors include two nephews, Scott Pollard and wife Cathy of Kingsport and Bill Pollard and wife Susan of Wytheville, VA; one niece, Linda Kincer and husband Mike of Greenville, NC; two great nieces, Anna and Kimberly; three great nephews, Ben, Nathan and Kirk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday. May 12, 2017 at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor Paull Dixon will officiate. Special music will be provided by Jim Lyons. Those attending services are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:45 am Friday. Friends will be received following graveside services at her residence.
