Elizabeth Archer, affectionately known as "Peggy" all of her life, went to sleep in her chair after reading the Sunday paper and awakened to the greatest family reunion imaginable. She lived her life as the kindest, most gentle and most giving, humble person you would ever want to meet and died as she had wished, in her own home and just waiting for the Lord's call to come home.
Peggy was born in Fort Blackmore, Virginia, on September 9, 1925, married Roy Archer on July 25, 1946, and lived most of her life in Kingsport.
