Elizabeth Blakley

Elizabeth Blakley, 85, of the Rock Springs Community, joined her loved ones at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 3rd, 2011.

Mrs. Blakley, born in Dante, VA, resided in the Rock Springs community most of her life and was a former employee of the Kingsport Press. She was a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a loving and giving Christian lady.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Heston Blakley; granddaughter, Blakley Donica Cameron; parents, James and Mosleate Culbertson Bradley; sisters, Virginia Irvin, Jean Sampson, Lois Hill; brothers, Don Bradley and J.W. Bradley Jr.; two special friends, Jimmie Bacon and Blondel Rikard.

Elizabeth is survived by daughters, Sharon Cameron and husband, Don of Dandridge, TN, Shelby Marlow and husband, Dwight of Kingsport, TN and Pam Webb and husband Tony of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Chad Riggs, Jessalynn Hakanson and husband, Hunter, Bradley Cameron and Terence Webb; great-grandchildren, Nolan Cameron, Stella Mae Hakanson; two sisters, Margaret Kane of Baltimore, MD, and Hazel Federico of Kingsport, TN; one brother, Cecil Bradley; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Rock Springs United Methodist Church.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at the church with Dr. Mack Turner and the Rev. Regina Shelton officiating.

Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery.
