Elizabeth C. Browder

Elizabeth C. Browder, 92, of Kingsport passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 surrounded by her family. Elizabeth was born in Kingsport in 1932 and lived her entire life in this area. She spent 10 years working at Sperry in Bristol and following that, she spent her time as a homemaker raising her two boys, Larry and Rodney. Elizabeth was a caring and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert H. Browder; parents, Robert McKinley and Willie Lee Cline Brown; sister, Ruby Ryans, brother, Robert Brown and sister, Helen Brown. 

Survivors include her sons, Rodney and Larry; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend loving thanks to special niece, Carolyn Johnson Browder and her late husband, Johnny.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 10th at 1:00pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
