Elizabeth "Libby" Feldhaus Scales

Elizabeth Feldhaus Scales, 72, of Kingsport died at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Wellmont Hospice House. Born in Columbia, TN, she was a graduate of Vanderbilt University. Libby had lived in Kingsport since the mid 1960's and was an active member of the Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Beth Jenkins and husband, Jim of Madison, AL; son, David E. Scales of Gray, TN; three grandchildren, Anna Jenkins, Rob Jenkins and Emily Jenkins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2010 at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church with Rev J. Thomas Phillips officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
