Ell Ryans, 81, of Fall Branch, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Laughlin Healthcare Center in Greeneville, where he had been a resident for several years.
Ell was formerly of the Oak Glen Community. He was the eldest son of John and Ada Ryans.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Buford, Tyson, and Elbert; two infant brothers; and one sister, Bell Crankshaw.
Survivors include two sisters, Edna Roberts and husband Jesse of Fall Branch, Eva Brown of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Waycaster officiating. Music will be provided by Danny Ball.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at Oak Glen Union Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45am.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Nursing Staff at Laughlin Healthcare Center.
