Ella Gertrude Sloan Miller of Kingsport passed away March 7, 2014, at her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Colonial Heights Baptist Church.
A native of Scott County, VA, Gertrude resided in Kingsport since 1950.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William (Bill) Miller in 1998; her parents, Patton and Alice Sloan; and several sisters and brothers.
Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Joyce and son-in-law, Erritte Osborne, Kingsport; three grandsons, Mark Osborne and wife, Gina of Johnson City, David L. Osborne, Blountville, and Alan Osborne, Gray; two great-granddaughters, Emily and Jade Osborne; three great-grandsons, Owen, Alex and A.J. Osborne; and several nieces and nephews.
Gravesides services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Greg Burton officiating. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
