Ellen Lila Kenner White

Ellen Lila Kenner White, 91, of Fall Branch, was born on September 23, 1925 and went to be with the Lord Jesus on May 18, 2017.
She was born in Hawkins County, Tennessee and was the oldest of five children, the daughter of the late Herschell and Anabel (Brooks) Kenner. She worked for many years and retired from Banking and Trust of Fall Branch, TN. She spent her retired life active and traveling with the Kingsport Senior Citizens.
She was married to the love of her life, Homer Hal (Stutz) White for 45 years, before he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lynn Kenner Sr.
Surviving is a sister, Catherine Beverly, and sister in law, Judy Kenner; nieces, Jane Linkous and husband, Buck, and Mary Hilton and husband, Eugene; as well as several other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Fall Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Fall Branch, TN, with Pastor Vic Wallace officiating. Pallbearers are Gaines (Buck) Linkous, Walker Gentry, George Moody, Jerry Lynn Kenner Jr., David Beverly and Eugene Hilton.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Crown Cypress for their loving care, as well as the nurses on the 4th floor at Indian Path Medical Center.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department, 106 Ruritan Road, Fall Branch, TN 37656.
