Eloise B. Ellis

Eloise Ellis, 70, of Church Hill, who was God's servant, was called home Friday, July 12, 2013. She grew up in the Methodist Faith and was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Eloise was an active member of United Methodist Women, the SONrise Emmaus Community, a long time supporter of Buffalo Mountain United Methodist Camp and served in missions both locally and abroad.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emogene and John Bussell, and son, Andrew Ellis.

Eloise is survived by her husband of 46 years, Phillip Ellis; daughter, Rebecca Ellis Yarosh and husband, Brian of Mt. Carmel; son, Jonathan Ellis of Church Hill, and fiancée, Aimey Weaver of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, Chloe and Karissa Yarosh; sister, Betty Sue Bright and husband, Allen of Kingsport; sisters-in-law, Faye Smith and husband, Harold, Brenda Lord, widow of Enos Lord, and Peggy Ellis, widow of Walter Ellis, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 14, 2013, from 4-7:00 pm at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Craig Needham and Rev. David Graves officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, July 15, 2013, at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
