Emma Lou Beckowitz

Emma Lou Beckowitz, 66, Kingsport passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. She lived the majority of her life in Michigan but had resided in Kingsport for the last several years. Emma was an active volunteer in the Kingsport Chapter of the American Red Cross where she had many friends that were dear to her. She was a big Red Wings fan, liked to travel and enjoyed her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Beckowitz; father, Clyde Clark; brother, Jack Allan Clark and dear friend, Carolyn Griffen.

Emma is survived bhy her mother, Cotella Reedy Clark; son, Larry Beckowitz and daughter-in-law Cindy; grandsons, Stephen and Andy Beckowitz; granddaughter, Meredith Beckowitz; sisters, Anita Newman, Kathy Cowles and husband Michael; Faye Gardner and husband Glen; Jean DeMoss and husband Wayne; Donna Garland and husband Bob; brothers Valis Clark and wife Shirley; Michael Clark and wife Trish.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 30th from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport.
