Emogene Jones Hall

Emogene Jones Hall, 83, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 8, 2018. She was a member of Horse Creek Freewill Baptist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church, Kingsport, Cherry Hill Freewill Baptist Church, Baileyton, and Howard Hill Baptist Church, Kingsport, where her husband was pastor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Tom Hall; parents, Tommy and Emma Jones; siblings, Rosa Brooks, Juanita Shipley, Dorothy Davis and Charles Jones; and special niece, Linda Jones.

Emogene is survived by her step-daughter, Marie Jennings; sister-in-law, Frances Jones; several nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Betty Willis.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm on Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
