Emogene Richards

Emogene Richards, 72, of Fall Branch, passed from her residence to Christ on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 7:45 a.m.

A member of Sullivan Baptist Church, she loved and was loved by her church family. She was a devoted, loving, unselfish wife, mother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Louise Fink, and sister, Rita Fink Helton.

Emogene is survived by her husband of 55 years, Johnny H. Richards; daughters, Geri Richards of Kingsport and Ladonna Greer and husband Darrell of Fall Branch; son, John Richards and wife Michelle of Fall Branch; two grandchildren, Brooke Denton and husband Billy and Luke Richards; sister, Mentoria Williams and brothers, Haynes and Mike Fink.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14th, at Sullivan Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Strong and Ronnie Dean officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15th, at the First Baptist Church Cemetery, Fall Branch.

Honorary pallbearers will be The Servant Sunday School Class of Sullivan Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank the staff of Amedysis Hospice.
