: ENOS LORD, JR.
Enos "June Bug" Lord, Jr., 65, of Kingsport, died Tuesday evening, April 26, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after an extended illness.
Born in Kingsport, where he resided all of his life, Enos had worked at J. P. Stevens and for the Town of Mount Carmel.
Enos was a Methodist. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, wrestling, playing cards, watching football and sitting on his front porch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Enos and Alice Lord; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Hicks; and brothers, Kenner Lord and John Lord.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Ellis Lord of the home; one daughter, Amanda Kay Lord Hicks and husband, Ronald of Kingsport; one son, John Lord of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Emily Jane Lord, Sara Faye Lord, and Ashton Brian Hicks; two brothers, Bill Lord and wife, Brenda of Stephens City, VA and Carl Wayne Lord and wife, Shelby of Loudon County, TN; three sisters, Grace Jones and husband Charlie, Ina Ventura, and Louise Bushell, all of Church Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Hammonds and Rev. Harrison Bell officiating.
