Eric Wayne Page

Eric Wayne Page, 47, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by family, friends and pastor, on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at his residence following injuries sustained in an automobile accident 6 years ago. Born in Kingsport on April 13, 1969, a son of Gerald and Frenchie Taylor Page, he had resided in this area his entire life. Eric graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1988. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted son, poppy, brother, uncle and friend. Eric was an animal lover who raised pit bulls and having the #4 rated pit bull in the nation, Homer. He loved spending time with family, friends and riding motorcycles.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to special caregiver, Jeanette Watkins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earnest and Dorthy Taylor, and Hughie and Phroncie Page.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his daughter, Hunter Page Olinger and husband, Austin of Kingsport; grandson, Brantley Olinger; brother, Justin Page and wife, Crystal of Kingsport and their children, Jada, Kadance and Rykin; and special cousins, Jim and Patty Page of Ormond Beach, FL.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery. Those attending committal services are asked to assemble at Hamlett-Dobson at 12:00 pm Thursday and then proceed to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dave Kilgore, Alvin Hunt, Alan Ward, Billy Dingus, J.R. Piercy and Jonathan Page.
