Eula Mae Jones

Eula Mae Jones, 80, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Counsil, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Bertha Ball Presley. Eula retired from Eastman Kodak after many years. When health allowed she loved tending to her flowers. She attended Vernon Heights Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Jones, Sr., four sisters and one brother.

Eula is survived by her daughter, Teresa Jones Carter and Tom Hall of Gray; two sons, Ben Jones of Hope Mills, NC, and Barry Jones and wife, Sherri of Kingsport; four grandchildren, Gavin Carter, Kaley Franklin and husband, Matt, Nicole Cardenas, and Taylor Jones and fiancé, Hunter Beedle; great-granddaughter, Isabella Olivarias; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11-1:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Matt Franklin, Hunter Beedle, Gavin Carter, Greg Palmer, Richard Hite and Brad Brown.
