Eva Dorothy Dodd Cox
Eva Cox, 92, Kingsport, died on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol. Born in Greene County, TN, she had resided in Kingsport since 18 years of age. Mrs. Cox worked at Eastman for 18 years and attended St. Luke United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal D. Cox in 1993.
Eva is survived by her son, Hal Gene Cox, of the home; sister, Marian F. Dodd of the home; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12-1:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
The graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 pm at East Tennessee Cemetery with Rev. Tim Hodges officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
