Eva Quillen

Eva Quillen, 86, of Kingsport, passed away on Monday morning, May 3, 2010, at Holston Manor. She was born on December 5, 1923, in Greeneville, TN, and was a member of Morrison City Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferris Quillen; a son, Darryl Quillen; her parents, Thomas and Lura Mae Wagner; a brother, Henry Wagner; and sisters, Rovena Story, Thelma Sizemore, Mildred Kelton, and Barbara Roberts.

Surviving are her son, Gary Quillen and wife, Christine, of Kingsport; daughter-in-law, Linda Rae Quillen, Mountain City; grandsons, Mike Quillen and wife, Jill, Troutville, VA, and Timothy Quillen and wife, Donna, Greensboro, NC; granddaughters, Julia Oxendine and husband, Winston, Jr., Elizabethton, and Diana Fisher and husband, Dave, Knoxville; great-granddaughter, Hannah Quillen, Troutville, VA; great-grandsons, Gabriel and Lukas Oxendine, Elizabethton, William Quillen, Greensboro, NC, Zachary Fisher, Knoxville, Daniel and Matthew Quillen, Troutville, VA; sisters, Edna Noe and husband, Don, of Kingsport, and Dorothy Pruitt and husband, Allen, of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be conducted at 8:00, with Bob Underwood, minister, officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers are Elders at Morrison City Christian Church, and Mrs. Quillen's nephews.
