Evelyn B. Ferguson

Evelyn B. Ferguson, 62, Morelock St., Kingsport, died Wednesday afternoon, June 11, 2014, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. Evelyn was born in Hancock County and resided in Rogersville, TN until moving to Kingsport 26 years ago. She was a homemaker and loved her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Minerva Seals, daughter, Trena Fain and sister, Kathy Luster.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Frank Ferguson of the home; grandson, Cody Fain; sister, Joyce Starnes of Rogersville, TN; and 5 nieces, Leah Luster, Angie Henard, Julie Starnes, Holly Gunnoe and Carolyn Bernard.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-2:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm with Brother Paul Hamilton officiating.
