Everston Eugene Gene Webb, Jr

Everston Eugene Gene Webb, Jr., 42, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2010. Gene loved the outdoors, and was an avid fisherman.

He was a lifelong roofer, and worked for A & K Home Improvement for several years.

Gene was preceded in death by his father, Everston Eugene Webb, Sr., and his grandmother, Lucille Persinger.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Debbie Webb, of Kingsport; his daughter, Brenda Michelle Webb, also of Kingsport; two sons, Shawn Witt, of the U.S. Army stationed in El Paso, TX, and Cammerron Witt, of Kingsport; his mother, Brenda Dykes, of Kingsport; a granddaughter, Chloe Elizabeth Witt, Kingsport; two brothers, James Dean Webb and girlfriend, Nila Klineck, of Kingsport, and David Webb and wife, Terri, also of Kingsport;
Special friends, Mike Vicars, Allen Castle, Ross Frasier, Kirby, Hunter, and Jazzy; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Services will be conducted at 7:00, with Rev. Hagan Webb and Rev. Doyle Castle officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Webb, David Webb, Allen Castle, Mike Vicars, Robert Simpson, Shawn Witt, Cammerron Witt, and Tanner Derrick.
