Fay Rossie

Fay Rossie of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 after a brief illness. Fay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Lane; brothers, Joe C. Lane and Clyde E. Lane; and sisters, Juanita Fish and Irene Starnes.

Fay is survived by her husband of 60 years, Howard Rossie of Kingsport; daughter, Kathy Ramsey and husband, Mike of Limestone; son, Buddy Rossie and wife, Debra of Johnson City; two grandchildren, Stephanie Wall & husband, Jason, and Tamra Rossie; one great-grandson, Eli Wall; siblings, Myrtle Bowen of Gate City, Ina Smith of Kingsport, Pauline Rossie of Kingsport, Nancy Fields of Kingsport, Robert Lane of Kingsport, Patsy Bates of Kingsport and Gary Lane of Kingsport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-7:00 pm at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Todd Jennings and Rev. Gary Cavin officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
