Faye Hayes

Faye Hayes, 92, of Chuckey, TN, passed away at 5 p.m. Thursday evening, August 4, 2011 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville.

Mrs. Hayes was born and had resided in Greene County all her life. She was a member of Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. T. Hayes; parents, Albert and Fannie Evans; four brothers, Beryl Evans, Kay Evans, Roy Evans, and Ray Evans; and one sister, Ileen Chase.

Mrs. Hayes is survived by two sons, Jerry Hayes and wife Joyce of Mulvane, Kansas and Lonnie Hayes and wife Doris of Chuckey, TN; four grandchildren, Jeffery Hayes, Chris Hayes, Tamara Hayes, and Leah Charlton; six grandchildren, Anissa Almany, Haley Hayes, Sumer Hayes, Katelyn Hayes, Evan Hayes, and Seth Charlton; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Rocky L. Johnson and Rev. Johnny Shipley officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
