Frances Manis Leedy

Frances Manis Leedy, 48, Kingsport, was called home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Kingsport where she had lived her entire life. Frances had worked as a waitress and bartender at various restaurants. She was a graduate of Sullivan South High School. Frances was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca O'Neil.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Ashley Coffey and husband, Jamie of Ft. Campbell, KY, and Amanda Leedy and Angel Leedy of the home; grandchildren, Damion, Triston, and Carson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. McKinley and Margaret Manis, Kingsport; sister, Rhonda Blakely, Kingsport; brother, Michael Manis, Kingsport; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Willis officiating.

Graveside services will follow the funeral service on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Manis, Darrel Manis, Justin Lightner, Travis O'Neil, Joe Hite, and Mark Leedy. Jesse Blakely is an Honorary Pallbearer.
