Frances Ward

Frances Ward, 92, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Holston Manor. Frances was a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Ward; parents, R.C. and Bessie Chase; brother, James Chase; and sisters, Marie Chase and Polly Quillen.

Frances is survived by four sisters, Margaret Strickler of Kingsport, Carrie Williams of Mount Holly, NC, Zalia Crussell and husband, Paul of Kingsport, and Winnie Holder of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 pm on Saturday, October 6th at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. David Foster officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Orebank Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 5930 Orebank Rd., Kingsport, TN 37664.
