Frances Whitmore

Frances Whitmore, 81, of Mt. Carmel, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Frances was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill Whitmore; son, Brent Whitmore and wife, Aimee; daughter, Jalana Jennings and husband, Todd; three grandchildren, Kade, Kinsley, Piper; four step-grandchildren Jordyn, Logan, Madison and Bryson; 2 sisters, Patsy Byerley and husband, Jerry, and Noonie Bennett; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Brent Whitmore and Scott Byerley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 311 Cypress St., Mt. Carmel, TN 37645.
