Frank McAninch, 73, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Wexford House.
He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a veteran of the U. S. Army. Frank retired from Tennessee Eastman.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Roscoe and Alice McAninch; three brothers, R. C. McAninch, Bob McAninch and James McAninch; four sisters, Eva Mae McAninch, Florence Chase, Myrtle M. Spivey and Katherine Hines; and one niece, Melody McAninch.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette McAninch of Kingsport; one brother, Herman McAninch and wife Gladys of Kingsport; two sisters, Betty Hensley and husband Claude of Jonesborough and Connie Monday of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport and anytime at the home. Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Paul Webb and Rev. Richard Wilson officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park with military rites by the American Legion Posts #3/265.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
