Frank D White

Frank White, 89, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 26, 2008, at Indian Path Medical Center Emergency Room due to apparent heart failure.

He was born in Grainger County, Tennessee, and lived in Kingsport most of his life. Frank was owner/operator of White Floral. He also enjoyed farming and working with real estate. Frank was of the Baptist faith.

His wife of 64 years, Elizabeth "Tee" White, preceded him in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Martha Masterson and husband Gary of Knoxville; two sons, Ronnie White and wife Janis of Kingsport, David White of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Adam Masterson and wife Marcie, Andrew Masterson and wife Julie, Beth White; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Dr. Phil Hoskins officiating.

Graveside services will be Sunday at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be present and former employees of White Floral. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.
