Franklin Elwood Jessee, 76, of Jonesville, VA, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, in Kingsport.
He was born July 19, 1936, in St. Charles, VA. He retired after serving 23 years in the U.S. Marine Corp.
Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Marie Harber Marlow Jessee; three brothers, Ricky Jessee, Houston Elwood Jim Jessee and Fred Jessee; three sisters, Nannie Witt, Ruby Jessee and Louise Marlow.
He is survived by his daughter, Deanna Farmer and husband, Edward, of Brentwood, TN; grandson, Jaxson Edward Farmer, of Brentwood, TN; brothers, J. B. Jessee and Steve Jessee, of Pennington Gap, VA; sister, Billie Harris, of Toledo, OH; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
