Fred B. Frazier of Kingsport went to be with the Lord and the love of his life "Big Mom" Friday, November 14, 2014. Fred was born in Big Stone Gap, VA and moved to Kingsport where he had resided for the past 67 years. He retired from Flav-O-Rich Dairies after 45 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Friendship Chapel. Fred was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Julie Frazier, wife Dorothy Collier Frazier, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Fred is survived by his sister, Ruth Clawson of Kingsport; three daughters, Kay DeVault of Kingsport, Ann Franklin of Kingsport and Libby White and husband, Drew of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Jonathan Wright and wife, Sherry, Sharon Dean and husband, Alex, David Kindle and wife, Rachel, Jessica Hurd and husband, Josh and Nick White; eleven great grandchildren, Brittany, Cody, Dustin, Evan Wright, Summer, Holly, Parker Dean, Lynnzi and Jaxson Hurd, Cody Goode and Gabby Kindle; two great-great grandchildren, Jessie and Eli; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 17, 2014 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Joe Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery.
The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the caregivers - Connie, Rhonda, Freda, Alice, Connie and Ray for all your support and special care to him.
