Fred R. Moody
Fred R. Moody, 78, Kingsport, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011. He had resided most of his life in Kingsport and retired from Sprint. Fred served as an elder in the Kingsport West congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Joyce Moody and brother, J.C. Moody.
Fred is survived by two daughters: Kimberley Brooks and husband Phil of Liberty, S.C., and Julia Sexton and husband Greg of Kingsport, TN, one son, Keith Moody of Fort Collins, CO, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one sister, three brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Graveside services will be on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10:00 am at Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 1:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingsport West.
